NABERS Indoor Environment Performance Rating is another new service offered by HBI in efforts to assist building owners, managers and occupants in managing and reducing environmental impacts.

The National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) is a performance-based rating system for existing buildings. The system rates a building on the basis of its measured operational impacts on the environment, and provides a simple indication of how well you are managing these environmental impacts compared with your peers.

With over 30 years experience in assessment and measurement of the indoor environment HBI were engaged by the Department of Environment and Climate Change to conduct the NABERS pilot study of the Indoor Environmental Performance Ratings System. Since that time HBI has been involved in NABERS ratings projects for clients including government bodies.
