Although Asbestos is no longer legally permitted for use, it is still present in many buildings which were either built or refurbished before the year 2000.
Asbestos is a naturally occurring fibrous material that has been a popular building material since the 1950s. It has been used as an insulator, and was popular because of its excellent fire protection and anti-corrosive properties – however it kills!
Our specialist licensed Asbestos Manangement team help you manage your legal responsibilities through creating an Absbestos Management Plan for each building. This plan highlights the potentially hazardous and high risk areas and details how to work in and around them. This not only keeps you legal but ensures that your employees, contractors and visitors are able to work in a safe and healthy environment.
